1.11 - Wrapping Up

After my good cry, I knew I needed to get out of the house and party. Forget about everything. I was thankful when Ann Conners invited me to her party.

On my way out, Anoki & Asala helped to lighten the mood. They were flirting, but Asala needed.....um....a bath. Ew!

It seemed to be a decent party. Ann said she had heard about what happened and she felt so bad. I told her it was fine, but I just need to goof off and forget it for awhile. So, we had a lot of fun looking at videos and talking.

Then, I also met a vampire! Awesome, right?! His name was Kaz Nasri and he was really nice. It was amazing, but scary at the same time.

Jacob came over to talk to me. It seemed things were progressing well between Ashley and him. I was glad for him. However, I needed to get going as I was starting to smell something, well not good.

Then, not so politely, Jacob told me I needed a bath! I was mortified and left immediately. I couldn't believe I was the one who smelled! I stayed much longer than I anticipated, but I had a good time, so it was worth it. I chuckled to myself as I remembered Jacob's face again.

The next day I let myself sleep in. It was Thursday and I didn't have to be anywhere until later. When I did finally get up, I went downstairs and felt inspired to make lasagna. It was amazing and everyone was thankful that I shared with them.

Well, except maybe Asala. She didn't look so happy. Maybe something happened between her and Anoki or she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Who knows! Werewolves....geez!

After my boring lecture, I got a call from Jacob who invited me to another party. He said Ashley would be there, so I decided it was a good time to get to know her better.

When I arrived, the party seemed to be in full swing! I found Ashley and it seemed she wasn't mad at me and truly wanted to be my friend. I was glad that she gave Jacob a second chance.

After that, Lizzie wanted to apologize to me for getting upset when she found me in Jacob's bed. I was unsure what she was talking about, but I told her she was forgiven. I made a mental note to ask Jacob later about that.

To get her back (though I had no idea what she had done), I decided to show her one of my favorite gross videos. Ha! That was something I'll remember for a long time.

During the party, I got a phone call from Robert Richards. I had met him briefly, but couldn't remember where.  He asked me out on a date. I said yes, of course.

I met him and we talked for a little while.

“So, you came in your bathing suit...”

“Um, yeah, sorry. I just came from a party and that was what I was required to wear.”

“Oh....”

“So, do you like it here at University?”

“Yeah.”

“What's your major?”

“Business.”

...and on the evening went.  I practically had to drag every answer out of him.

Then, he got on his laptop and I got on my phone and later, we read together.

It was the MOST boring dates I'd ever been on!

I finally told him it was a beautiful night. I thought maybe I would get the ball rolling since he was being boring and completely unromantic. I mean, why ask me out on a date if you don't even try to flirt! What fun is that?

He didn't even blink. I finally just got up and left. He never even noticed. I felt like I wasted an entire night! I asked one of my friends about him later and they said I must have misunderstood him since he was married to Debbie Richards. Geez....I can't wait to get out of this place and away from these crazy men! There must be something in the water.

The next morning, as I was making breakfast, I noticed the kitchen was a disaster! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to clean it since I needed to get to my first final exam. My roommates are definitely not the cleanliest group of people.

This last day of the semester was quite the rainy one. It seemed we all were crammed into one group to try and stay dry while we waited for the doors to open. I don't think it helped much.

Passed with flying colors!!!!!! Yes!!! On my way to the last class, I saw this beautiful rainbow! Wow!

I got stuck on the way there. Don't ask how it happened. It was too embarrassing.

I met Sasha on the way.

Are you ready for the exam, Sasha?”

“I thought I was. Now, I'm just nervous. I studied all day yesterday, tried to get a good night sleep and ate a good breakfast. So far, it's just making me feel nauseous.”

“It's ok. You'll do great!! If it helps any, I'm nervous, too.”

“Thanks, Justine. I think we'll do ok.”

The doors opened just then, so we went to our classes.

After another class passed with flying colors, I was so pumped! The rain had finally stopped and I took a deep breath. I love that after rain smell!

Oh, hi! Sorry, I was just celebrating”

“No worries. I'm glad you did well! My name is Mugsy Brotoaski.”

“My name is Justine Ramsey. I hate to meet and run, but I have a party to get ready for!”

Ashley had invited me earlier that day to her party that night. It seemed everyone was having a good time, but I was really hungry. So, I made tofu dogs. However, it seemed that everyone thought I was being inappropriate! So, I left shortly after. See if I ever make food for them again!

Meanwhile, back at the dorm...

“Man, this place is a mess!!” said Tiffany.

Yes, yes it is,” said Tammy coming up behind her.

“Well, why don't you clean it.”

“Um, it's not my mess. I'm going to Simburger to eat. See ya later!” said Tammy.

Well, I'm not going to clean it either. I'm just going to get a cup of coffee.”

When I arrived home, I found a letter for me from school. It was my final grades for the exams. Boy, they sure are fast!!

After I got my outstanding end of term report, I was ready to relax!! Thankfully, I received a call from Leonard asking if I'd come to his party. Yes, I'll be by later tonight to PARTY!

In the meantime, I had some time to kill. So, I invited Sophie Manter over. We decided to play hopscotch until it was time to go. Unfortunately, we couldn't determine a winner. Sadly, we both sucked equally.

Then, I was hungry and wanted to get some good food before the party. It seemed lately, at least, that these parties didn't even have food half the time. So, I thought I'd have more fun if I ate before I went. I asked Sophie to eat with me. It gave us more time before we headed back home.

Simburger was hopping when we got there. I hadn't seen this many people here all semester. Everyone must be done with their finals.

After we ate, we talked about school and our families back home.

“It was a tough term and I'm glad it is over. I'm excited to go back to my family. I've missed them a lot! Are you excited to head home, Justine?”

“Yes, but it will be a very short visit. It was a tough semester, but I'm over half way done and I really just want to get back here to finish my degree. I feel like it is taking FOREVER and I want to get on with my life.”

“Yeah, me, too! I don't have a lot of credits left, either. Hey, maybe could room together when we come back!”

“Oh, that would be sweet! I'll see what I can do when I get back on campus. I don't want to think too much right now. My brain is fried.”

I decided to take a picture of us goofing off to take home with me. We had fun and I would miss her!

I wasn't able to get to Leonard's party as I was told it was time to go. So, I started to run towards my dorm to grab my stuff. It had just started snowing as I walked by all the graduates from this class. Hopefully, that would be me next term. I couldn't wait to get back here to finish!

*lovesstorms notes*
I am SO incredibly sorry that this is taking forever!  At least, it seems that way.  I know everyone would probably like her to meet someone soon and get on with the generation.  I will try to revamp the next term to not be so long.  However, I will say, she did have quite the adventurous 1st term, didn't she?  LOL!  So many things were happening and sometimes it was a little crazy!  In the game right now, she just started her next semester, so I'm going to try to hurry through it.

Also, I'm trying to research Master Controller because there HAS to be a way to make people who are dating or married not ask others on a date.  It's driving me INSANE how all these people keep trying to get together with her, but they are married or dating others.  It's SO weird!  (If you know, please feel free to comment.

Anyway, as always, thanks for reading!

1.10 - Putting Out Fires

As it was lately becoming a habit, I slept in my sleeping bag between classes. Of course, after the night I had, I would have slept anywhere to get some rest. I also had stowed a hot dog in my back pack for a snack.

Unfortunately, Jacob sat next to me while I was eating it. Ugh! I was feeling a little awkward, so I chose to ignore him. I ate my hot dog as quick as I could and got ready for my next class.

Unfortunately, he broke the silence before I could leave. He apologized profusely, but I told him to stop.

“Jacob, I thought about last night a great deal and I understand we both got a little carried away. I am upset with myself as much as I'm upset with you. No offense to you, but I just don't think I have feelings for you in that way. Maybe I never did and I just let my hormones take over.”

“I am so glad you said that and I agree with you completely. We definitely let things get out of hand and I know I've learned a lesson. Flirting is going to get me in trouble if I'm not more careful. I'm just thankful, you were so understanding.”

“So, have you talked to Ashley about this? Are you still going to pursue a relationship with her? I hope so.”

“I actually just spoke to her. She was definitely upset, but I told her I had stayed up all night trying to figure out what I wanted. I told her she was a beautiful woman, I was very attracted to her, and I wanted to continue getting to know her. She wanted to think about it some more. I'm not sure what her decision will be, but it sounded promising.”

“Well, when things like this happen, it can take time to rebuild that relationship, respect and trust again. I know you weren't with her that long, but if she does give you a second chance, you had better treat her right.”

I felt a lot better after that conversation and left to go to my next class. When it ended, I got a call from Jacob asking me to come to his party. He said Ashley had said yes to continuing a relationship with him and she wanted me to come, too.

Oh, boy that had me a little worried. I figured she would create some kind of drama, but he must have read my mind because he said Ashley just wanted to meet me. She had lost a friend not that long ago and knew how important it was to hold onto them when you did find a true friend. I was kind of shocked and still unsure, but I did say yes.

So after my last class, I ran over there, though I'd have rather gone home. Ashley wasn't there, yet, but Jacob said she had to work and she'd be by later.

He and I did dance together. I was a little concerned he might pull something again, but he kept his promise and did not flirt with me once. I was glad it wasn't uncomfortable. In fact, we had a blast! I guess some friendships can withstand more than you think.

Ashley never did show, at least while I was there, but I had to leave since I told Derek I'd meet up with him later. I thanked Jacob for a fun party and left.

I got back to the dorm, but I was too exhausted to spend much time with Derek. I ended up sleeping in his bed, though. I was just too tired to walk down to my floor.

I had only been asleep for a few hours when Derek and I were both awakened by lots of yelling. It seemed that blasted grill was on fire AGAIN!! It was brand new and according to witnesses, there were hot dogs cooking, but no one was around. What?!

So, again, I ran downstairs to put out the fire. I'm not sure why no one else could have put it out. Was I the ONLY brave one around?

It took HOURS to put the fire out and was so exhausting. Just when I thought I was starting to make headway, another fire would pop up and I felt like I'd have to start all over again.

Finally, I finished putting it out. I think the entire neighborhood had shown up to freak out.

I went straight to bed after that! This time, though, I went to my bed.

The next day, I studied in the morning and went to class in the afternoon. This time, a fellow classmate named Justin Cronk and I tried to read each other's mind. It still didn't work. Maybe I was doing it wrong.

When I got back to the dorm, I found Derek waiting for me. We sat together on the couch in the living area to watch a movie. About halfway through the movie, I suddenly felt his hand on mine. He was being subtle, but it was so cute!

After the movie was over, he needed to use the restroom, but I told him I wanted to go play in the leaves. It was exhilarating!

I decided I was going to head to bed as I was getting tired. When I was almost to my room, Derek walked in to flirt.  He asked if it was all right if he sat on the bed with me and we could talk.  I said it was fine, but not too long as I was getting tired.

We noticed Tiffany already sleeping in her bed and Derek thought we should be quiet. I told him we could yell and scream, but it would make no difference because she slept like the dead. We sat on the bed and he pulled me close to him. We sat like that for a little while. It was so nice that he didn't try to do anything. He seemed to enjoy us just being together. I almost fell asleep leaning on him.

I was brought back to reality when he finally moved and said he'd better get to back to his room. He pulled me up from the bed and gently drew me close. He almost took my breath away as he gave me my first kiss. It was uber romantic!

It was hard to resist him further, but thankfully, he walked out of the room. I sighed because he just made my mind mushy and I couldn't concentrate. I looked around and remembered that Tiffany was still in the room. Maybe that's why he left.

Right before I crawled into bed, I looked out the window and saw this gorgeous display.

*lovesstorms notes*
Shortly after that, he came back into the room and crawled into Tiffany's bed. Hmmm.....

When I woke up the next morning, I was so giddy with anticipation. My heart raced with the thought that I'd found an amazing man. Even the sunrise seemed to catch my mood as it displayed its vibrant color!

I ended up skipping my morning classes and went to play with the new science machine. I wanted science knowledge and this seemed to be a fun way to learn. It was a blast and I didn't feel a bit sorry for skipping classes. I knew I could easily catch up with a few notes from some of my classmates.

Around lunch time, I noticed the sky had turned a brilliant blue! What a glorious day!!

After the afternoon classes, I raced back to the dorm to see if I could find Derek. I just really wanted to kiss him! When I finally found him and tried, he didn't look real sure. However, it only took a nanosecond for him to warm up to the idea. I don't think he was so used to me being forward.

It was wonderful! Sadly, that feeling was short lived.

I saw Tiffany out of the corner of my eye and turned in time to get out of her way. She walked up to Derek and slapped him. I was SO confused. I didn't understand why she was angry with him.

Then I heard her yell, “You said you wanted to be my boyfriend! How could you be kissing someone else?!”  I'd never seen her so angry!

Then, I suddenly realized what she had just said. Wait, what!? How was that possible? He said he was single! Oh, my, just when I had started falling for him. My first true crush....

I felt a hand on my arm and I turned to find Derek. I wasn't sure where Tiffany had gone nor what Derek could say to me about this.

“Please, Justine, there is a simple explanation for all of this!”

“Derek, no! You were her BOYFRIEND  Did you forget about that fact?? What is with all the men on this campus?!    If I'd known you were with her, I'd never have pursued any of my feelings.   I respect her and she's a very dear friend.”

“But I have these extremely intense feelings for you. I don't have those for Tiffany.”

“It's too late, Derek! I will never betray my friendship with Tiffany. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some homework to do.”

My heart was breaking, so I ran to my room. I needed a good cry and I didn't want anyone to see me like this.

I wish my mom and dad were around.   I missed them so much!   I know they would have had some words of encouragement or advice. Was this all my fault? Did I lead everyone on? Maybe I just needed to stay away from men the rest of this semester. Then I could avoid this horrible heartache.

*lovesstorms notes*
This was a VERY hard chapter to write.  Derek seemed so awesome, but, though she did ask him (during flirting) and he denied a girlfriend, I found out he DID in fact have a girlfriend.  Story Progression could have gotten me and maybe they flirted a little, he got together with Tiffany, and then Justine wanted to flirt with some more.  Honestly, I had NO idea until he hopped into bed with Tiffany and cuddled with her.  I was like........what?!  I almost peed myself because I couldn't believe it happened to her again.  Poor Justine!

The whole Jacob situation was weird, too.  It was a tough spot to get out of, but hopefully, most of it made sense (since I had to make something up to figure out a way for her to go Jacob's party even though she yelled at him).  Sometimes, I wonder what these sims are thinking when they get into these predicaments.

Also, the fire was all on its own, too.  It was kind of creepy how that grill kept starting on fire.  She ran downstairs to put out the fire and NO ONE else helped.  It did take awhile because there was so many fires.

I know there are a few more poses, but I'm exhausted and need to go to bed.  So, I'll add to my list later when I can keep my eyes open.
