Welcome!

Updated 4/8/15
I've moved this blog to Wordpress.  There will be no more updates on this blog. Though, I do love many things about Blogger, I really had one or two things I loved more about WP. So, I switched.
If you'd like to read my wishacy, then, please click Ramsey Wishacy to be taken to the new blog.  Thanks for all of your support!

So, I know it is weird, but I've decided, after much thought, that I'm going to do things a little differently.  Originally, this was a true wishacy.  However, things have changed over time and little by little, I've been manipulating the game so much and I don't feel right saying it is a wishacy anymore.  I will still follow the wishacy rules, but there will be times I stray from that path.

The reason for my decision is the story itself is evolving into this gigantic thing.  It's very difficult to follow the rules when I see so many other potential paths.  My brain is actually creating ideas and I have my own thoughts.  It's VERY exciting!

So, I am writing a side story to enhance the current story.  Therefore, there will be times that I will do the following:

--stop game play and do poses to go with a particular story line that I want

--do something without a wish because I feel like it would be a good addition to the story

--cheat by fulfilling needs, moving sims in without a wish, etc  because I want something to happen and I don't feel like waiting for it to happen (yes, I'm impatient)

--have multiple saves to go back and take more pictures, make something else happen, or even do something that I don't want to happen in my main save

I hope you all won't mind. :-/ I won't necessarily tell you when I'm cheating or not cheating.  I'm a little nervous as to what you'll say, but I am very excited about what is to come.  This will still be a fun story, but I guess there may be times (I won't let it happen often) where it won't be perfect for the sim.

I've been playing the sims since the beginning.  Funny enough, when Sims 3 came out, I could have cared less.  I loved Sims 2 and didn't care one iota for the next installment.  However, my sister introduced me to it one day and I fell in love with it!  I've barely gone back to Sims 2 or the original and have learned as much as I can on how to manipulate Sims 3 and make it the work the best it can (which can be very tough :)) ).

I created a topic at the Sims forums and you can find that here.  If you would like to comment, but not on here, feel free to comment on my thread on the Sims forum.

I got Roaring Heights when it was released and wanted to explore this beautiful little city. So, I decided to plop my new sim there. I've loved exploring it and am very excited to share Justine's life.

So, without further ado, you can begin Justine's journey in Generation 1: Meet Justine Ramsey.  Enjoy!!

  1. Came here to bookmark and saw this and whoa I didn't know you could click on negative moodlets to get them to do that I've been playing since it came out and never knew this xD I feel stupid now.
(also, bookmarked and hope to have time to read soon!)

    1. Thanks for bookmarking my story!! I really appreciate those who are reading it! Yes, the neg moodlets are a nice touch. :) Even if they don't always do what I want them to do. :)

    2. Aww, I just tried this tip in my Sims game and it didn't work. Do you know if it's part of a particular expansion pack? It sounds like a very convenient way to take care of Sims needs.

    3. Hmmm....that's strange. I do know it isn't EVERY negative moodlet. Just some of them and I know hunger and smelly moodlets are definitely ones that work. Which moodlet did you try? I also know for a fact that it doesn't work for the disgusting moodlet (face of disgust) nor does it work for the "dirty surroundings" moodlet. So, I'm not sure why it isn't consistent, but that is why I made it more consistent in my game. :)

  3. Ohh. This saver thing sounds awesome. I need that. I can't count how many times I've played all day, only to have my old laptop overheat or some stupid alert pop up and freeze my game. I don't have these problems on my new computer - but it would me a fantastic backup if it is what I think it is!!

I don't know if I could handle doing a story like this. It leaves too much to chance for me... Plus, I get bored easily. lol

    1. Yes, the saver thing has saved me a time or two. I don't ALWAYS save when it pops up, but it reminds me to do so when I'm done with what I'm doing. :) And all it is, is a pop-up that comes and asks if you'd like to save your game. If you don't want to save it under the same name you are in, then you can hit no, then hit the save as option. :)

I wasn't sure about the "chance" idea either, but as you'll see, it isn't NOT always boring. LOL! Also, I probably manipulate a little (without cheating) more than what the original creator probably meant. LOL! :D Still follow the sims wishes, though. :)

    1. I know, but I am such a people pleaser. :) Anyway, I am glad to be back, too. I'm excited for what is to come...if only I could get it all together in my head and on paper. :) Thanks for reading and commenting! :D

  5. I read your new addition to this page, and I just want to say, I cheat all the time in my game, LOL. So, that being said, it doesn't matter how you do things for pictures and story lines. If it's good for the story, it's good for the readers. :D

    1. I think I technically did this more so everyone would know what I changed. I have to say, I still am being careful with the cheating, but I don't feel guilty if I do it. I'm still having fun and that is what matters more to me. :D Thanks for helping me feel not as guilty. ;)
