1.23 - Growing Up Johnson (PG-13)

**Warning:  A few pictures and possibly some content might seem a tad provocative to some.  Read at your own risk.  If you'd rather read the regular chapter, go to the chapter 1.23 - Growing Up Johnson.**

"What a mess!" I said to myself as I carried London into the kitchen.  I felt incredibly guilty leaving it like this, but between London, the twins, Caitlin being in school, and Marvin working, it was tough to do much but the bare minimum to get by.  Even with Dylan around, we all had our hands full.

It eventually got fixed by Dylan and thankfully, didn't ruin the floor.

When Caitlin came home after the babies had been born, she was quite surprised.  She rushed right upstairs to see what she thought was the new little one.

The room had been rearranged since she last saw it that morning.  We had originally thought she would share with the new little one, but changed it around when the twins came.  She walked into the room and gasped.

"Mom, why are there two cribs?"

"Honey, your mommy not only had ONE baby, but TWO babies."

She was so excited!  She ran over and looked at one, then ran to the other crib.  She did this a few times before she finally asked, "Mom, what are their names?"

"The one with the blanket is Lynelle Avery and the one with the cute jumper is Sophia Ivory."

"Oh, mom!  They are so adorable!!!  Can I touch them?  Maybe hold them?"

I was a little nervous, but I did let her sit down with some pillows and she held them, one at a time.  She was very careful and listened to what I said.  They soon grew to love their big sister.

Lynelle had a smelly diaper so I put Sophia back in her crib and took Lynelle to the changing station.  As I was changing Lynelle, Caitlin asked if she could bring London in to see them.  As she zoomed off, my statement of "London saw them earlier today" fell to silence.  I decided to let her show him.  I didn't want to spoil her enthusiasm since she seemed so excited about introducing him to them.

As I was working on Lynelle's bath, I heard Caitlin bring London in.  She was talking excitedly about the girls to him.  He seemed to babble things here and there almost like he understood everything she said.

"See, London!  This is Sophia.  She's the one with the cute jumper."

"Umper," said London.

"Good job!  Now, we have to be real careful with them.  They are very little and fragile."

"Fwag-il," said London.

"Good, London!  Mommy is washing Lynelle because she had a big poopie mess and she needed a bath."

"NO BAT!" yelled London.

Caitlin giggled and put him down.  "No bath for you, London.   Bath time for Lynelle since she had a yucky diaper.  You are a big boy and go potty in the big boy potty."

"Potty," said London.  And with that, he waddled off to the big boy potty chair.

They were so precious and I loved their cute little conversations.  Caitlin was a great big sister and she was fantastic with London.  Marvin and I were very happy at how well she was doing with this new adjustment.  She was doing more than we expected of her and seemed to do it without complaint.

At first, Caitlin didn't even notice her missing bed and belongings. After I put Lynelle back in the crib, she surveyed the room and asked almost dejectedly, "Mom, where's my stuff?  Where am I supposed to sleep?"

I walked over and gave her a hug and a big smile.  "Honey, your daddy and I have a special surprise for you.  We decided it would be too much for you to sleep in Sophia and Lynelle's room.  We want you to have a place of your own and be able to get a good night's sleep.  Follow me."  She seemed a little nervous as we walked out of the girls' room.

As we walked downstairs, I saw Marvin and motioned for him to follow us.  We got to Caitlin's room and I noticed her excitement.  I wasn't a big fan of her sleeping down there by herself, but we didn't have any more bedrooms upstairs.  Plus, she was getting older and it wouldn't be too much longer before she'd be a teen.  I figured she would probably enjoy a place of her own.

"Caitlin, if you get scared or want to stay upstairs, please let us know.  We could always add a room..."

Marvin couldn't even finish his sentence before she interrupted him and said, "No, no, this is perfect!!  I've always wanted a room down here!"  She started dancing around and punching the air.

Marvin and I just looked at each other and smiled.  She was celebrating now, but we'd see how the night went.

After she calmed down a little, we introduced her to her new room.

As soon as she walked in, she squealed and ran all over the room looking at everything.

She found her other present in the corner. We felt she was doing such a great job at being a great big sister, so we gave her a hover board.

She ran over to us and gave us like a thousand hugs and kept saying "Thank you" and "I love you" and "I love it" over and over again.

I heard the girls crying again, so Marvin and I left as Caitlin continued to explore.

She loved the hover board and used it wherever she went.

After a summer of fun and craziness, we started settling into our routine.  Caitlin was scared the first few nights, but we got her night lights for every room downstairs and a flashlight for her to have in bed.  She seemed to do much better after that along with her nightly prayers.

Judy called me and wanted to get together.  So, I called a baby sitter to help Dylan since Caitlin was at school and Marvin would leave for work soon. I didn't feel right leaving Dylan with ALL the kids.  He's good, but not THAT good.

I met Judy at the Beachfront Cafe.  Frank was there, too, but I was in for a shock.  I hadn't seen them for awhile and Frank had aged.  Hubert had grown, too, since I last saw him and Arnulfo was now in school.

Judy and I hugged and started talking about everything.  I had missed her so much!

I'm not sure why, but Bonnie Davis didn't like us.  I tried ignoring her, but Judy got tired of it, turned around and told her to go away.  Bonnie wasn't too happy about that, but finally left.  Go Judy!

After I looked through Judy's pictures of her kids and ooh'd and awe'd, I showed her a few videos of mine.

Right before I was getting ready to leave, Frank ran up to me and wanted an autograph. I was a little taken aback, but I gave it to him.  I was even more confused when he turned and walked away.  Maybe he finally had grown out of his flirty ways.

London's birthday finally arrived!  We were very excited!  He'd been asking us for weeks when he was going to "grow up".  Well, his day had finally come.

He grew up well and had us rolling in laughter with his sense of humor.

London loved all his gifts, but his favorite was the last gift.  After a fun scavenger hunt, his final clue led to his remodeled bedroom!  He just stared for a few minutes.  Then, turned around and gave us big hugs!  He loved it!

Caitlin enjoyed having another kid to run around and play with, but she still enjoyed singing to Jelly Bean.

The next day was Sophia and Lynelle's birthday.  They were getting so big!

Lynelle Avery

Sophia Ivory

London and Caitlin's first day of school that fall started a little scandalously.  Caitlin and London were eating their breakfast when Marvin walked in.

"Dad!  Ew!  We're trying to eat here!" yelled Caitlin.  She looked disgusted, but kept eating.  London just giggled.

Marvin just ignored her and went to the kitchen.  I told him that he probably shouldn't do that again.  I may find him sexy in his underwear, but the kids were getting older and didn't appreciate it like me.

Caitlin and London made their way the bus.  Caitlin wasn't feeling as scared as she had her first day.   She would try to reassure London, but he kept saying he wasn't scared.

While the Caitlin and London were at school, Sophia and Lynelle worked on their skills at home.  It was cute to watch them run around in their walkers.  They kept looking at each other as they walked around, almost like they were competing to see who could walk first.

Caitlin's birthday kind of sneaked up on us.  We felt really bad, but she was excited since she got to celebrate it with her friend.

It didn't take long to notice she had become irresistible to many people.  My baby was growing up and I wasn't sure what I thought about it.

We felt terrible, but she kept insisting she didn't mind.  We got her a new dream bed to make up for it...and gave her Justine's car.  We needed a van anyway.   She said it wasn't necessary, but I knew she loved them both!

We agreed we would teach her to drive as long as she kept her grades up and she didn't get into any trouble.

The girls enjoyed spending time together and their favorite game was Peek-a-Boo.

Marvin's birthday came and he wasn't too happy about it.  He was almost trying to play hide and seek from life.  He didn't want to grow older.

He decided to change a few things.  I wasn't too unhappy about it.  I thought he was pretty sexy in that outfit.  He was definitely amid his mid-life crisis.

My birthday came as well and I understood a little better about what he was going through.  We were just a bunch of old adults now.  At least Caitlin was excited about it.

I tried to help Marvin to forget his age...

...it seemed to help.  I whispered that I'd love him no matter how old he was, then nibbled his ear.  He groaned and captured my lips in response.

First, I apologize for being so long with chapters lately.  I was involved with a contest and a game on the forums.  @-)  It was VERY time consuming, but I'm back now and I'm done with both.  I haven't played this family in awhile, but had tons of pic.  This is good because the last time I got into that save file, Marvin was deleted.  :-O  Hopefully, I can pull my back up file and it will be all good.  :D

The mess scene at the beginning was SO hard for me.  I'd watch as Marvin, Justine and Dylan would go into the kitchen.  For some reason, Marvin and Justine NEVER got the "Dirty Surrounding" moodlet.  If they'd had it, I would have made someone fix the sink and clean up the kitchen.  Dylan walked through it as well and would get a disgusted face, but never bothered to do anything about it.  =))  It lasted for at least one sim day before Dylan FINALLY fixed the sink and cleaned up the mess.  I'm sure that isn't long for some people, but the water started moving into the dining and living rooms and it was driving me crazy.  ~X(

I'm still in love with this wishacy and I'm hoping to end this generation soon, but Justine still needs to work on her job.  Hopefully, no more baby wishes and we can end it soon and have you all vote for the next heir!  :D
